New York state of mind

I am going to New York City soon, and I always try to explore a new section of the city I’ve never seen. I’ve done Midtown, the West Village, the Upper East Side, Central Park and the Theater District. What should I explore next? Tribeca? Soho? Chinatown? I’m looking for your suggestions of the offbeat, odd and downright hidden gems of the city. Leave a comment to let me know where your favorite places of the city are located. I plan to post pictures as I wander, so you never know – your recommendation might just show up here!

  1. Have a wonderful time! I can’t recommend anything to see/do since I haven’t lived out that way for a decade. The one place that stands out in my memory is Serendipity – I love that place.

    • That is the best part about New York – you really can’t go wrong in the “seeing” and “doing” department! Thanks for the support. 🙂

  2. I agree! I haven’t found a bad photograph in the city yet. There’s just so much to look at, I have to narrow it down to stay focused. 🙂

  3. I am jealous. There is so much to see. I like to roam the streets in Manhattan. I think a person could spend a lifetime there taking photos. I love it at night and in the day time too.
