My name is Colleen McGuire, and I live in the Lowertown district of Saint Paul, Minn.

Today I travel with my husband, but my parents began taking family vacations when I was young. It started with a long drive in the family Vega hatchback to Colorado and New Mexico. From there our family summer vacations got more extensive, taking me on Amtrak from coast to coast, and overseas to new lands. As I aged, being a single woman couldn’t stop me from traveling.
