The Rossmor
The Rossmor, another artist live/work space here in Lowertown, is day 143 of Photo 365.
The black dog
The art inside Black Dog Coffee and Wine Bar in Lowertown changes frequently, and this spring a new visitor has arrived. A third mascot, a third puppet and a third art piece, the five foot tall pooch is freakish yet cute.

Old fashion photography
Today I was introduced to Victor, a gentleman who teaches alternative photography process – as in images on glass or aluminum plates. Before film, cameras were this large, and the image was made on plates instead of negatives. Victor told us that the camera was about 115 years old, and he was offering to photograph people for $50, which is his cost to get the image processed. The end results, as you can see lying on the base of the camera, were stunning.

Art a Whirl
It’s Art a Whirl weekend in Northeast Minneapolis, so husband and I whirled around to different studios today, seeing friends and new art spaces.

Chuck Taylors
Sometimes it’s all work and no play, even if you’re at a conference in Las Vegas. Today was stacked with keynote speakers, workshops, a taxi ride with an interesting cabbie, security checkpoints and a flight home. So today’s 136 of Photo 365 is just a picture of feet of a conference attendee. You had to know feet would appear sooner or later.

Another Las Vegas hotel, Bellagio, has beautiful gardens, a butterfly house and this glass ceiling. Lovely.
The Venetian
The hotels in Las Vegas are truly over the top, as demonstrated at places like The Venetian Hotel and Resort.
