Every Christmas, for more years than not, my family has gone to a movie matinee after dinner. Some years we catch the latest blockbuster, other years we see an indie flick. The 2013 McGuire movie selection was “Philomena,” which we saw at Rio Theater in Kansas City. I give day 359 of Photo 365 two thumbs up.

Rolling cigars

While strolling through the streets of the Kansas City Country Club Plaza this afternoon during the Plaza Art Fair, I happened upon a gentleman hand rolling cigars outside of Diebel’s Sportmans Gallery, a tobacco institution on the Plaza.

On the dashboard of the runner-up bus was this guy. He must ward off evil on the road ahead for the gypsies who drive this rig journey from place to place.

I am a sucker for a classic mode of transportation. This Prevost Bus was found in a parking lot adjacent to the Brookside Art Show in Kansas City. I would like to think an artist lives in this bus, traveling the show circuit with their wares.
