In New York, there is always one person who breaks across traffic a few minutes before or after a stoplight changes. It was raining this evening, however, so I don’t blame this jaywalker for taking a chance.

Bicycle reflections
The bright sun brought multitudes out on their bikes today; this day 153 of Photo 365.
Pop up art
In the downtown Saint Paul skyway system there is an art project in progress on the drywall of a space under renovation. Adetomiwa Gbadebo has been working on this piece of pop up art for the last few days, and I’m curious to see the final result.

Bend in the road
First it was an eternal winter and now it’s an eternal spring, with rain every day and mild temperatures that still require a jacket. But June settles in this weekend and I sense we’ll be coming around the bend soon.

I went to see a friend tonight, and she has two sweet Dachshunds. Jack and Greta loved the camera, but Jack was slightly slower, reducing the blur of doggie wiggles just a bit.

Bridge over high water
You can see from my previous post how high the water is on the St. Croix River right now. Spring rain has been constant, and the local rivers and lakes are at capacity. Driving over this bridge from Wisconsin to Stillwater, Minnesota, I couldn’t help but fall in love with the industrial lines of the bridge.
