Like a rock

As I was running a zillion errands today, this Chevy parked in a shopping mall lot made me stop in my tracks. My dad had a truck like this one, so it was a momentary blast from the past. The vehicle is as old as I am, which made me also wonder how in the heck it’s still running.

April snow showers

The individuals who discovered vitamin D was good for lifting up one’s mood must have been from a place where it snows in April.

Checkmate

It was game night at the Saint Paul Union Depot. I didn’t partake in the games, but played with angles instead. At first glance this might look like a chessboard on a table. But it’s actually two foot high game pieces standing on a rubber mat.

I can attest the marble floors in the Depot were spotless on day 107 of Photo 365.

Long lost friend

There is nothing artistic or interesting about this photo – other than the fact the SUN made an appearance today. After what seems like weeks and weeks of snow, ice, rain, cold meh weather, we broke 40 degrees today and the sun came out to play. It was glorious. And I’m ignoring the snowy weather report for tomorrow.

Day 104 of Photo 365 runner-up

Summit Avenue in Saint Paul is a beautiful stretch of mansions built during the railroad empire age. I decided to have a little fun with motion, and this was my second favorite of what I snapped as husband drove down the avenue.
