Business meetings through dinner put me in the North Loop of Minneapolis after dark. The North Loop is the hip new place to be in Minneapolis, with lots of restaurants, bars, and as I spied with my iPhone, new condo buildings going up on every corner. This one had a funky disco mood lighting the upper floor, which is either a marketing ploy or just construction workers with a sense of humor.

I went shopping on day 250 of Photo 365.
Tonight I went to a photo exhibit at Lowertown First Fridays. Husband had several photos in an exhibit, so I thought I would document the event. The last photo is me taking a picture of me. The actual photograph is an abstract image of yours truly walking through the Tate Modern in London. It was taken on my 40th birthday (seeing the museum was on my bucket list, in addition to eating amazing Indian food). ‘Twas a good night, and a wonderful chance to relive a very good memory.
I love it when co-workers bring fresh produce from their gardens to work and beg people to take as many as they want. Cherry tomatoes, you are mine.

This morning I walked across my office parking lot to Caribou Coffee for one more cup to help me make it through the day. As I waited for my light roast with steamed soy, I noticed the board that is strategically placed by the pick up counter. Every few days a new question is posted, and today’s question was, “Who’s your hero?”
I’ll have to think about that one for awhile. Who’s your hero on day 246 of Photo 365?

Husband and I went to the Minnesota State Fair tonight, and strolled through the Midway. Pretty lights.
